The Definition of Advertisement

Advertisements is the promotion of new objects such as tables, services such as the post office, place of business and ideas to be paid by a sponsor. Other components of the promotion include publicity, public relations, sales, and sales promotion.

Public Service Advertisements (Iklan Layanan Masyarakat)

Public service ads are ads that present social messages which aims to raise public awareness of a number of social issues, which is a condition that can threaten the harmony and the common life.
Public service ads can be campaigned by a profit or non-profit organization with the goal of improving the socio-economic welfare of the community.

Commercial Advertisements (Iklan Komersial)
Commercial ad is an ad that aims to support the marketing or promotion of a product or service that is produced from the company / industry and personal.
There are 2 kinds of commercial advertising :
1. Strategic Advertising : This kind of advertisement is used to build the brand. This was done by communicating the brand value and benefits of the product or service advertised.
2. Tactical ads : Are ads that have an urgent goal. This kind of ad is designed to encourage consumers to immediately make contact with a particular brand. In general, these ads provide special offers short term to spur consumers to respond on the same day.
